The 17th-ranked Bruins begin Pac-12 Conference home play this weekend at Pauley Pavilion presented by Wescom, as UCLA hosts No. 20 Oregon on Friday at 7 p.m. and Oregon State on Saturday at 7 p.m. Friday's match will be televised on Pac-12 Networks, while Saturday's contest will feature a free live stream on UCLABruins.com. The Bruins moved up one spot to 17th in this week's AVCA Top 25 Coaches Poll. UCLA is one of eight Pac-12 teams ranked in the Top 25 (No. 2 Stanford, No. 12 USC, No. 15 Washington, No. 20 Oregon, No. 21 Arizona, No. 22 Washington State and No. 24 Utah), with Colorado and Arizona State also receiving votes. In addition, the Bruins also played No. 13 Cal Poly and No. 23 Baylor.

The Bruins are two wins away from 1,300 in program history ... senior Zana Muno has 1,253 digs in her career, putting her eighth in UCLA history. Next up on the list are Ashley Bowles (7th, 1,269), Bojana Todorovic (6th, 1,275) and Nellie Spicer (5th, 1,299) ... the Bruins had 22 blocks in the Sept. 2 victory at then-No. 19 San Diego, their highest total since Nov. 8, 2007 against Oregon State. This century, UCLA has five matches with at least 20 blocks, with the 22 at USD ranking third on that list ... the Bruins, who have dropped nine of their 11 second sets, are 6-0 when winning the third set of a match, as well as 6-0 when winning set four ... UCLA is 5-0 when leading the match in hitting ... the Bruins are 4-0 when leading in blocks ... UCLA is 3-0 in five-set matches ... senior Kyra Rogers, who leads the team with 12 block solos, has at least one in 10 of 11 matches, producing at least four blocks in eight of 11 contests. Offensively, Rogers has at least six kills in all but two matches ... sophomore Jenny Mosser has double figures in kills in eight of 11 matches, recording a season-best 19 against Gonzaga on Aug. 26. She had season highs with 52 assists, 16 digs and six blocks at San Diego ... Muno has double figures in digs in eight matches, recording 66 double-figure digs matches in her four-year career. She put the libero jersey back on in the middle of the California match, as she went over 20 digs (25) for the fourth time this season ... redshirt freshman Alexis Light entered Sunday's match at California with 18 career kills in 23 sets, but she went for a personal-best 19 kills at Cal. She hit .405 for the match, with 14 of her kills coming in the three UCLA set victories ... junior Kylie Miller set new career highs in assists (41) and digs (22) at Utah on Sept. 21, which resulted in her first double-double of the season and seventh of her career. She is averaging 3.5 digs per set in her last four contests ... junior Savvy Simo has double figures in digs in eight matches in a row, going for at least 20 in three of those. After tying personal bests with 20 digs in back-to-back contests at San Diego and Cal Poly, Simo set a new career high with 25 on Sept. 7 at Cal Poly ... sophomore Mac May recorded her second, 20-kill match of her season and career at Cal, going for a double-double (third of the year) with a personal-high 14 digs. She has double figures in kills in eight of 11 matches. May is just as effective behind the baseline, as she has an ace in eight of 11, including two on six occasions and a pair in four matches in a row ... junior Madeleine Gates has at least seven kills in all of her matches, including double figures in six of them. She has just 21 hitting errors in 11 matches, swinging .300 or better in eight of those contests. Defensively, Gates has at least five blocks in five matches, including a career-high 11 at San Diego.
SCOUTING THE OREGON DUCKS
Oregon (9-5, 2-2 Pac-12) had a tough week in Eugene last weekend, dropping a five-set match to then-No. 24 Arizona and a three-set contest versus Arizona State. The Ducks have both a five- and four-match winning streak this season. Oregon is averaging 14.84 kills, 1.53 aces, 17.25 digs and 2.26 blocks per set, hitting .258 as a team. Four players are posting at least two kills per set, led by senior Lindsey Vander Weide's 3.40 kps. Junior Ronika Stone is second at 3.22 kps and junior Willow Johnson is third with 2.82 kps. Senior August Raskie handles the setting duties and is posting 12.29 assists per set. Freshman Brooke Nuneviller is tops on the team with 4.69 digs per set, while Stone is first with 1.31 blocks per set.
THE SERIES: UCLA VS. OREGON
The Bruins lead the all-time series with Oregon by a tally of 56-11, having won three in a row over the Ducks. The teams met just once in 2017, with UCLA winning in four sets in Westwood. The Bruins are 31-3 against the Ducks in Los Angeles, including wins in three of four.
SCOUTING THE OREGON STATE BEAVERS
Oregon State (10-6, 0-4 Pac-12), which is at USC on Thursday, is in search of its first conference win after getting swept at home by Arizona State and Arizona last weekend. The Beavers do have ranked, five-set road wins at Iowa State and San Diego and also took Washington to five sets. Oregon State is averaging 12.44 kills, 1.24 aces, 15.53 digs and 2.82 blocks per set, hitting .180 as a team. Sophomore Maddie Goings is one of two players averaging at least three kills per set, checking in at 3.37, with junior Amy Underdown ranking second at 3.18 kps. Freshman Maddie Sheehan handles the bulk of the setting duties and is recording 8.77 assists per set. Sophomore Grace Massey is first with 4.68 digs per set, while redshirt freshman Lindsey Schell (1.29), senior Maddy Gravley (1.13), sophomore Haylie Bennett (1.00) and junior Serena Bruin (1.00) are each posting at least one block per set.
THE SERIES: UCLA VS. OREGON STATE
UCLA has won 19 matches in a row against Oregon State and leads the all-time series, 60-3. The Bruins have swept the last three versus the Beavers. UCLA is 29-2 at home against OSU.
