STILLWATER, Okla. - The Bruins struggled to a 9-over 297 on Sunday at the NCAA Championships, but are still in a comfortable second place after 54 holes at the Karsten Creek Golf Club. UCLA is at 6-over 870 through three rounds, eight strokes back of first-place Alabama (-2, 862). The top eight teams following play on Monday advance to the match play quarterfinals on Tuesday morning. The Bruins will enter the final round of stroke play with a 24-shot cushion over ninth-place Florida State.

A pair of Bruins are in the Top 10 through three rounds, as junior Lilia Vu is tied for seventh (-1, 215). She shot a 3-over 75 on Sunday on 15 pars and three bogeys. Sophomore Mariel Galdiano is tied for 10th (E, 216), posting an even-par 72. She made two birdies (No. 2 and 9) and two bogeys on her front nine and all pars on the back. Freshman Patty Tavatanakit is tied for 13th (+1, 217). She shot a 3-over 75 on Sunday, making back-to-back birdies on the third and fourth and another on her last hole, the 18th, to go with six bogeys. Junior Beth Wu is tied for 35th (+6, 222), recording a 3-over 75. In round three, she made four birdies (No. 4, 13, 14 and 18), five bogeys and a double. Sophomore Clare Legaspi is tied for 83rd (+14, 230), posting a 4-over 76 on an 18th-hole birdie and five bogeys.

UCLA will begin its final round at 12:50 p.m. CT/10:50 a.m. PT off the first tee in the order of Legaspi, Wu, Tavatanakit, Galdiano and Vu. Live scoring will be available here. Live television coverage will begin at 3 p.m. CT/1 p.m. PT on Golf Channel.
