CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The final round of the Golfweek Conference Challenge was canceled on Tuesday due to heavy rain at the Cedar Rapids Country Club. The Bruins finished in seventh place (+1, 577).

The top UCLA finisher was senior Jack Ireland, who tied for ninth (-3, 141). Junior Hidetoshi Yoshihara also placed in the Top 20 (T-19, -1, 143). The rest of the Bruin finishers were senior Cole Madey (T-32, +2, 146), sophomore Eddy Lai (T-47, +4, 148), senior Patrick Murphy (T-53, +5, 149), freshman Sean Maruyama (T-56, +6, 150) and senior Phil Delisi (79th, +11, 155).

The Bruins will begin another two tournament stretch at the end of this weekend, as the starting five and a couple of individuals will play at the Windon Memorial Classic (Sunday, Sept. 23 - Monday, Sept. 24) at Knollwood Club in Lake Forest, Ill., with another group of individuals heading to the Mark Simpson Colorado Invitational (Monday, Sept. 24 - Tuesday, Sept. 25) at Colorado National Golf Club in Erie, Colo.
