It marked the first time since October 2012 that UCLA had at least eight aces in back-to-back contests ... Michael Sealy won his 200th career contest as a head coach on Sept. 6 against Texas State.
PLAYER NOTES
**On the milestone alert, junior Mac May became the 29th Bruin to reach 1,000-career kills on Sunday against No. 16 Utah. She is seven aces away from becoming the 19th to reach 100 aces. May would be the 13th Bruin to post at least 1,000 kills and 100 aces.

**May reached the 20-kill mark for the eighth time in her career and the fifth time this season when she produced 20 last Friday against Colorado.
