    • MET-Rx UCLA Student-Athlete of the Week

    Junior playmaker Adam Wright (Seal Beach, CA/Wilson HS) of the men's water polo team was selected the MET-Rx UCLA Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Nov. 1-7.

    Wright scored three goals and two assists in UCLA's 10-8 victory over Stanford in a battle between top-ranked teams on Saturday. Wright scored goals in the first, third and fourth quarters, keeping the Bruins ahead of the threatening Cardinal.

    So far this season, Wright has tallied six hat tricks, not including a season-high four-point performance vs. UCSD. Wright is the Bruins' leading scorer with 34 points, and he has scored in six straight games and 13 of the last 14 games.
