ORLANDO, Fla. - The UCLA women's golf team, coming off a national semifinalist appearance at last year's NCAA Championships, begins the fall portion of its 2016-2017 campaign at the ANNIKA Intercollegiate Presented by 3M. The tournament, which runs from Sunday through Tuesday, will be held at the Reunion Resort Watson Course's par-72, 6,257-yard layout.
This year's star-studded field features four other teams which made the NCAA match-play finals, Duke, South Carolina, USC and Virginia and five more which made the NCAA Championships, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia and Oklahoma State. Rounding out the 12-team field are Arizona State and UCF.
The fivesome teeing it off for the Bruins in the season opener will be senior Bronte Law, sophomores Lilia Vu and Bethany Wu and freshmen Mariel Galdiano and Clare Legaspi. On Sunday, the Bruins go off the 10th tee starting at 8 a.m. ET/5 a.m. PT. Live scoring will be available here.
