SANTA ANA, Calif. - Senior Lydia Choi shot a 1-under 71 on the final day of the UC Irvine Invitational at the Santa Ana Country Club to finish in a tie for 14th.
Choi closed the tournament at 6-over (222), recording three birdies on Tuesday on #11, #7 and #8, with her only blemish a double on the third. Senior Joo Seo also tied for 14th (+6, 222), shooting a 3-over 75 in her final round. She made one birdie on #4 to go with four bogeys. Senior Erin Choi placed in a tie for 54th (+21, 237), making a birdie on #17, one bogey and three doubles for a 6-over 78.
The final event of the fall for the Bruins will be a team event at the Battle at the Beach in San Jose Del Cabo, Mexico (Nov. 3-5).
