TUCSON, Ariz. - The third-ranked Bruins completed their domination of the Sewailo Golf Club on Wednesday, winning the Pac-12 Conference Championships, while sophomore Lilia Vu won her unprecedented fourth tournament in a row to claim medalist honors.

UCLA finished the tournament as the only team in red figures at 2-under 862. The Bruins were one of two teams to go under par on Wednesday, shooting a 1-under 287. UCLA was 21 shots clear of second-place Colorado (+19, 883) to win its six conference championship and first since 2006. The Bruins notched their fourth tournament victory of the season and have finished either first or second in each of their last five events.

Vu, one of only two Bruins to ever win three consecutive events (Charlotte Mayorkas, 2004), became the first to win four in a row, defeating the field by six shots with a three-round total of 209 (-7). The sophomore was even par (72) on Wednesday, making three birdies on #5, #8 and #15 and three bogeys. Vu is the fifth Bruin golfer to take home medalist honors at the conference championships (Lisa Kiggens, 1991; Mayorkas, 2004; Tiffany Joh, 2007; Alison Lee, 2014).

Freshman Mariel Galdiano gave UCLA a 1-2 individual finish, as she was the only other player under par for the tournament at 1-under (215). She closed with a 3-under 69 to tie for the low round of the day. Galdiano made six birdies, including a bogey-free four on the front nine on #3, #5, #6 and #8. She added birdies on #12 and #13 to go with three bogeys.

Sophomore Bethany Wu struggled on Wednesday, but still finished in a tie for 11th at 6-over (222). Her lone birdie in her final-round (81, +9) came on the fifth to go with eight bogeys and a double. Junior Erin Choi placed in solo 14th (+7, 223) following an even-par 72. She made three birdies on #1, #5 and #16 to go with three bogeys. Freshman Clare Legaspi tied for 39th (+16, 232) after a 2-over 74. She made three birdies in her final round at #2, #5 and #6, adding five bogeys.

The Bruins will find out where their postseason journey begins on Thursday when Golf Channel airs the NCAA Division I Women's Golf Championships selection special at 8 a.m. PT. The four sites for NCAA Regionals, which will take place May 8-10, will be Columbus, Ohio, Lubbock, Texas, Athens, Georgia and Albuquerque, New Mexico.
