NO. 22 BRUINS TRAVEL TO OREGON STATE, NO. 16 OREGON
The 22nd-ranked Bruins head to the Beaver State this weekend, facing Oregon State on Friday at 7 p.m. and No. 16 Oregon on Sunday at 12 p.m. Friday's UCLA-OSU contest will feature a free live video stream, while Sunday's UCLA-Oregon match will be broadcast on Pac-12 Networks Oregon.

UCLA hosts a pair of matches next week at Pauley Pavilion presented by Wescom, entertaining No. 18 Washington State on Thursday, Nov. 8 at 6 p.m. and Washington on Saturday, Nov. 10 at 7 p.m. Both matches will be broadcast on Pac-12 Networks.

The Bruins fell two spots to 22nd in this week's AVCA Top 25 Coaches Poll. UCLA is one of six Pac-12 teams ranked in the Top 25 (No. 2 Stanford, No. 15 USC, No. 16 Oregon, No. 18 Washington State and No. 21 Arizona), with Washington, Utah and Colorado also receiving votes.

The Bruins picked up the 1,300th victory in program history on Oct. 10 against Arizona State ... senior Zana Muno has moved into fourth place in career digs in UCLA history, entering this week's play at 1,408. Her spot in fourth place will likely be where she ends her days as a Bruin, as third place Taylor Formico recorded 1,685 digs ... on Oct. 19, UCLA won for the first time in Seattle since Oct. 3, 2003 (15 matches), while its victory over Washington snapped a nine-match overall losing streak to the Huskies ... the Bruins had 22 blocks in the Sept. 2 victory at then-No. 19 San Diego, their highest total since Nov. 8, 2007 against Oregon State. This century, UCLA has five matches with at least 20 blocks, with the 22 at USD ranking third on that list ... the Bruins are 9-0 when winning the third set of a match, as well as 7-0 when winning set four ... UCLA is 9-0 when leading the match in hitting ... the Bruins are 5-0 when leading in blocks ... UCLA is 3-0 in five-set matches ... senior Kyra Rogers had an error-free match for the third time this season last Friday against California, going for four kills in 10 attempts. She has a .400 hitting percentage or better in four contests, while adding 10 matches with at least four blocks ... sophomore Jenny Mosser is tied for the team lead with seven double-doubles, with her most recent effort coming at Washington with 10 kills and 10 digs. She has at least seven kills in six of her last seven matches, adding six aces during that stretch ... Muno has double figures in digs in 16 matches, including nine in a row since returning to the libero position. She is averaging 6.00 digs per set in her last nine, going over 20 on three occasions, including twice last weekend ... after entering the Cal match with 18 career kills in 23 sets, redshirt freshman Alexis Light has 79 kills in her last 30 for an average of 2.63 kills per set. She went for a personal-best 19 kills in Berkeley, hitting .405 ... having started each of the last seven matches at setter, junior Kylie Miller is averaging 10.41 assists and 2.45 digs per set during that span. She also has five aces in the last seven contests ... junior Savvy Simo has at least four digs in all but one match this season. She has nine double-figure digs contests, going for a career-high 25 at Cal Poly on Sept. 7 ... sophomore Mac May has tied for the team lead in double-doubles after recording her seventh against Stanford last Sunday with 15 kills and 10 digs, the fourth double-double in her last five games. She set a new career high with 27 kills at Washington, including 10 in the fourth and victorious final set. May has double figures in kills in 16 of 19 matches, and behind the service line, has 11 aces in her last six contests ... junior Madeleine Gates has at least five kills in all but two matches this season, including double figures in seven of them. She has at least a .300 hitting percentage in 10 matches this season. Gates also has at least five blocks in six tilts.
SCOUTING THE OREGON STATE BEAVERS
Oregon State (11-13, 1-11 Pac-12) won its first conference match last Sunday at Arizona State with a four-set victory over the Sun Devils to snap an 11-match losing streak. The Beavers are averaging 12.51 kills, 1.13 aces, 15.46 digs and 2.47 blocks per set, hitting .174 as a team. Sophomore Maddie Goings leads the team with 3.36 kills per set, followed by junior Amy Underdown (3.12) and sophomore Haylie Bennett (2.07). Freshman Maddie Sheehan handles most of the setting duties and is notching 8.72 assists per set. Sophomore Grace Massey is first with 4.58 digs per set, while senior Maddy Gravley (1.08) and redshirt freshman Lindsey Schell (1.06) are each posting at least one block per set.ย
THE SERIES: UCLA VS. OREGON STATE
The Bruins won their 20th match in a row over Oregon State with a sweep in Corvallis on Oct. 6. Mac May led the offense with 13 kills, while Zana Muno added 19 digs. UCLA is 61-3 all-time against the Beavers and 30-1 in Corvallis (15 in a row).
SCOUTING THE OREGON DUCKS
Oregon (15-7, 8-4 Pac-12), which hosts USC on Friday, swept its last weekend, winning in three at Arizona State and in four at Arizona. The Ducks are averaging 14.73 kills, 1.39 aces, 16.20 digs and 2.35 blocks per set, hitting .263 as a team. Senior Lindsey Vander Weide is first on the squad with 3.45 kills per set, followed by junior Ronika Stone (3.06) and junior Willow Johnson (2.77). Senior August Raskie quarterbacks the offense and is posting 11.91 assists per set. Freshman Brooke Nuneviller is tops with 4.80 digs per set, while Stone is leading with 1.18 blocks per set.
THE SERIES: UCLA VS. OREGON
The Bruins saw their three-match win streak against Oregon snapped in three sets on Oct. 5 in Westwood. UCLA is 56-12 all-time against the Ducks and 23-8 in Eugene.
