The 21st-ranked Bruins have their penultimate homestand of the regular season this week at Pauley Pavilion presented by Wescom, hosting No. 19 Washington State on Thursday at 6 p.m. and No. 25 Washington on Saturday at 7 p.m. Both matches will be televised on Pac-12 Networks Los Angeles, and will also have free live audio on UCLABruins.com.
WHAT'S NEXT?
The Bruins are on the road next weekend for the final time in Pac-12 play, facing Arizona State on Friday, Nov. 16 at 6 p.m. PT and No. 20 Arizona on Sunday, Nov. 18 at 11 a.m. PT. The UCLA-ASU match will be live streamed online, while the UCLA-UA contest will be televised on Pac-12 Networks.

Michael Sealy is three wins away from 200 for his head coaching career ... senior Zana Muno is in fourth place in career digs in UCLA history, entering this week's play at 1,464. Her spot in fourth place will likely be where she ends her days as a Bruin, as third place Taylor Formico recorded 1,685 digs ... on Oct. 19, UCLA won for the first time in Seattle since Oct. 3, 2003 (15 matches), while its victory over Washington snapped a nine-match overall losing streak to the Huskies ... the Bruins had 22 blocks in the Sept. 2 victory at then-No. 19 San Diego, their highest total since Nov. 8, 2007 against Oregon State. This century, UCLA has five matches with at least 20 blocks, with the 22 at USD ranking third on that list ... the Bruins are 10-0 when winning the third set of a match, as well as 8-0 when winning set four ... SCOUTING THE WASHINGTON STATE COUGARS
Washington State (18-6, 9-5 Pac-12) has won five of its last six entering Thursday's match. The Cougars are averaging 13.38 kills, 1.43 aces, 15.18 digs and 2.58 blocks per set, hitting .245 as a team. Four players are averaging at least two kills per set, led by seniors Taylor Mims (3.85 kps) and McKenna Woodford (3.47). Junior Ashley Brown quarterbacks the offense and is posting 10.55 assists per set. Junior Alexis Dirige is tops on the team with 4.23 digs per set, while senior Claire Martin (1.14), senior Ella Lajos (1.10) and redshirt junior Jocelyn Urias (1.05) are each averaging over a block per set.ย
THE SERIES: UCLA VS. WASHINGTON STATE
The Bruins were swept in Pullman on Oct. 21, but still lead the all-time series with Washington State by a tally of 54-10. The Cougars have won three of their last four against the Bruins. UCLA is 29-3 at home versus the Cougars, including a four-set victory last Oct. 1.
SCOUTING THE WASHINGTON HUSKIES
Washington (15-9, 7-7 Pac-12), which is at USC on Thursday, snapped a five-match losing streak with a pair of home wins last weekend against Arizona State and Arizona. The Huskies are averaging 13.39 kills, 1.57 aces, 13.97 digs and 2.38 blocks per set, hitting .224 as a team. Four players are recording at least two kills per set, led by junior Kara Bajema (3.87 kps) and sophomore Samantha Drechsel (3.16). Freshman Ella May Powell handles the setting duties and is averaging 10.63 assists per set. Junior Shayne McPherson leads the team with 3.98 digs per set, while junior Avie Niece (1.07) and sophomore Lauren Sanders (1.04) are averaging at least a block per set.ย
THE SERIES: UCLA VS. WASHINGTON
On Oct. 19, the Bruins won for the first time in Seattle since Oct. 3, 2003 (15 matches), taking down the Huskies in four sets.
