EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. - UCLA is one of four teams under par after two rounds at the ANNIKA Intercollegiate at the Olympic Hills Golf Club, while freshman Patty Tavatanakit is two shots back of the individual lead.

The Bruins were 15 strokes better from Sunday to Monday, shooting an 8-under 280. Through 36 holes, UCLA is at 1-under 575, sitting five shots back of first-place Arkansas and a stroke behind second-place Stanford and Texas.

Tavatanakit shot a 3-under 69 on Monday and is tied for second (-4, 140), two shots back of tournament leader Natalie Srinivasan of Furman. She was steady with pars on each of her first nine holes before making a bogey on the 10th. The freshman then caught fire with three straight birdies on #13, #14 and #15 to go with another one on her last hole.

Sophomore Clare Legaspi is tied for 12th (-1, 143) after a 2-under 70 on Monday. She made three birdies on #3, #11 and #14 and just one bogey on the fifth. Junior Beth Wu and sophomore Mariel Galdiano are each tied for 20th (+2, 146). Galdiano posted a 2-under 70 in her second round, making five birdies on #2, #10, #14, #16 and #18 and three bogeys. Wu recorded a 1-under 71 on Monday. After making bogeys on #2 and #3, she made 10 straight pars before her first birdie on the 14th. Following two more pars, Wu gained strokes on the last two holes. Senior Joo Seo is in 57th place (+15, 159). She shot a 7-over 79, making a birdie on #7, six bogeys and a double.

The Bruins begin their final round at 9 a.m. CT/7 a.m. PT off the first tee in the order of Seo, Wu, Galdiano, Legaspi and Tavatanakit. Live scoring will be available here.
