UCLA HOSTS COLORADO, USC TO END REGULAR SEASON
The Bruins wrap up the 2018 regular season this week at Pauley Pavilion presented by Wescom, hosting Colorado on Wednesday and No. 15 USC on Friday. Both matches will be televised on Pac-12 Networks National and Los Angeles, and will also feature free live audio on UCLABruins.com.
WHAT'S NEXT?
On Sunday, ESPNU will air the NCAA Volleyball Selection Special at 5:30 p.m., as the 64-team postseason field is revealed. The first- and second-rounds of the NCAA Championship will be played Friday, Nov. 30 and Saturday, Dec. 1 at 16 campus sites.
BRUINS IN THE POLLS
For the first time since Sept. 1, 2014, the Bruins are unranked in the AVCA Top 25 Coaches Poll. UCLA is still receiving votes in the poll, which features six other Pac-12 teams (No. 2 Stanford, No. 15 USC, No. 17 Oregon, No. 19 Washington, No. 20 Washington State and No. 23 Arizona), with Colorado and Utah also receiving votes.

Senior Zana Muno set a new UCLA single-match record on Nov. 8 against Washington State when she had 38 digs. Muno, whose previous career high in digs was 34, broke the former Bruin single-match record of 36 set by Chrissie Zartman (2004) and Taylor Formico (2016) ... Muno surpassed the 1,500-dig mark in the match against the Cougars, and enters the final week of the regular season with 1,553 digs for her career. She is in fourth place in school history, which will likely be where she ends her days, as third-place Formico recorded 1,685 digs ... the Bruins picked up the 1,300th victory in program history on Oct. 10 against Arizona State ... Michael Sealy is two wins away from 200 for his head coaching career ... on Oct. 19, UCLA won for the first time in Seattle since Oct. 3, 2003 (15 matches), while its victory over Washington snapped a nine-match overall losing streak to the Huskies ... the Bruins had 22 blocks in the Sept. 2 victory at then-No. 19 San Diego, their highest total since Nov. 8, 2007 against Oregon State. This century, UCLA has five matches with at least 20 blocks, with the 22 at USD ranking third on that list ... the Bruins are 11-0 when winning the third set of a match, as well as 9-0 when winning set four ... UCLA is 11-0 when leading the match in hitting ... the Bruins are 7-0 when leading in blocks ... UCLA is 4-0 in five-set matches ... senior Kyra Rogers recorded her third double-figure kills match of the season versus Washington State when she had 11. Her career best in kills came at Oregon State on Nov. 2 when she had 15 with just one error in 27 attempts for a .519 hitting percentage. Rogers has produced a .400 percentage or better in six contests, adding 12 matches with at least four blocks and an ace in five of her last seven tilts ... sophomore Jenny Mosser registered a pair of double-figure kills contests last week, totaling 15 at Arizona State last Friday and 11 at Arizona last Sunday. She did not commit a hitting error in 55 attempts versus the Sun Devils, adding five blocks. Mosser has 12 double-figure kills contests, as well as 10 matches with at least 10 digs ... Muno has double figures in digs in 21 matches this season, including 14 of her last 15. In that 14-match stretch, she has gone for at least 20 digs in half of them, including her 38-dig effort versus WSU, her second-career match with at least 30 digs. In a five-match stint from Oct. 26 (Cal) through Nov. 8 (WSU), Muno had 142 digs in 19 sets for an average of 7.47 digs per set ... redshirt freshman Alexis Light has at least five kills in 12 of her last 14 matches, producing a career-high 19 at California on Sept. 28. Light, who missed the Arizona match with an injury, has three contests with double figures in kills ... in her last 12 matches, junior Kylie Miller is averaging 10.39 assists and 2.49 digs per set. Miller, who missed the Arizona match with an injury, also has 12 aces in her last dozen contests, including five in her last three ... junior Savvy Simo has double figures in digs in five of her last six matches, averaging 3.35 digs per set in her last half dozen contests. Simo has served an ace in four of her last six matches ... sophomore Mac May has at least eight kills in all but one match this season, recording double figures in kills in 20 of 25 contests. May, who leads the team in double-doubles with eight, set a new career high in kills at Washington with 27. Behind the service line, May, the team leader in aces, has at least one in 17 of 25 contests. She has reached multiple aces in 11 matches and has eight aces in her last six contests ... junior Madeleine Gates has at least five kills in all but three matches this season, registering double figures in kills in nine contests. Gates has hit over .300 in 14 matches, while adding at least five blocks in 10 tilts. She tied a season high with three block solos at Arizona State last Friday.
SCOUTING THE COLORADO BUFFALOES
Colorado (17-12, 9-9 Pac-12) has gone the distance in four of its last five matches, winning a pair of them last weekend at Oregon and Oregon State. The Buffaloes are averaging 13.19 kills, 0.88 aces, 14.12 digs and 2.65 blocks per set, hitting .238 as a team. Four players are posting at least two kills per set, led by senior Alexa Smith's 3.73 kps. Junior Justine Spann is second with 2.86 kps, followed by redshirt freshman Anyse Smith (2.77) and senior Naghede Abu (2.27). Freshman Jenna Ewert (6.34 assists per set) and sophomore Brynna DeLuzio (5.93) are splitting the setting duties. Junior Rachel Whipple is first on the team with 3.19 digs per set, while Abu (1.38) and redshirt freshman Danielle Price (1.15) are each tallying over a block per set.ย

USC (20-9, 12-6 Pac-12), which hosts Utah on Wednesday, has won five of seven, but was stunned by Arizona State last Sunday in four sets. The Trojans are averaging 14.04 kills, 1.45 aces, 15.71 digs and 2.17 blocks per set, hitting .247 as a team. A total of 75 percent of the team's kills comes from three players, as sophomore Brooke Botkin is first with 4.47 kills per set, junior Khalia Lanier is second at 4.34 and junior Emily Baptista is third with 2.90. Freshman Raquel Lazaro quarterbacks the offense and is posting 11.29 assists per set. Senior Victoria Garrick is first with 4.86 digs per set and junior Jasmine Gross is tops with 1.16 blocks per set.ย

The Bruins lead the all-time series with USC, 64-58, but were swept across town on Sept. 19. UCLA is 29-24 at home against USC. The Bruins have won six of the last nine against the Trojans.
