Freshman Selena Harris of the gymnastics team has been selected the UCLA Student-Athlete of the Week, presented by Ready, for March 27-April 2.

Harris recorded the top all-around score in the NCAA Regional Final – a career-high-tying 39.750 – and earned her first career perfect 10 on vault to help UCLA qualify to the NCAA Championships for the first time since 2019. Harris also had the top mark on beam with a 9.950, placed second on uneven bars with a 9.900 and scored 9.900 on floor exercise, part of UCLA's season-best floor rotation of 49.700. In the Regional Second Round, her all-around total of 39.650 was second overall, and she had Top 10 finishes on vault (ninth, 9.900), beam (second, career-high 9.975) and floor (sixth, 9.900) while leading the Bruins to a season-high-tying 198.275 team score that was the highest team total across all rounds of the Regionals around the country. Harris and the Bruins posted season-high team scores on vault (49.575) and beam (49.675) in the second round.

This is Harris' second UCLA student-athlete of the week award of the season and of her career.
