    • Junior Sean Kern (Honolulu, HI/Punahou School) of the men's water polo team was selected the MET-Rx UCLA Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Nov. 22-28.

    Kern was named to the MPSF all-tournament team after scoring a team-high 12 goals in three games during the conference championships. Kern netted four goals vs. UCSB in the opening round and five in UCLA's 12-9 victory over Cal in the semifinals, including two decisive points in the overtime. In the championship game vs. Stanford, Kern scored three goals, all which tied the score at some point during regulation. Kern now leads the Bruins in scoring with 47 points.

    This is Kern's second time being selected the MET-Rx UCLA Student-Athlete of the Week. He was last chosen Sept. 20-26 after scoring the game-winning goal over then-undefeated Stanford.
