Competed in four meets for the Bruins this season … Made his season debut at the Stanford Invitational, where he finished third overall in the 100m with a time of 10.86 … Ran his lone 200m race of the season at the West Coast Classic, going 21.61 for ninth place overall … Finished second in the 100m against the Trojans, clocking a time of 10.56 … Finished 15th in the 100m at the Pac-12 Championships with a time of 10.58 … Also helped the Bruin men to a fifth-place finish in the 4x4 at Pac-12s.

2019
Competed in 11 events as a true freshman … Indoor: Made his collegiate debut at the Dr. Martin Luther King Invitational, where he PR’ed in the 60m dash with a time of 6.80 to place third … Competed at the MPSF Indoor Championships, posting a time of 6.86 in the 60m dash to place 14th … Took 11th in the 200m dash, crossing the finish line at 21.61 … Outdoor: Saw his first UCLA outdoor experience at the Jim Bush Legends Invitational, where he took third in the 100m dash (10.64) and fifth in the 200m dash (21.49) … Had a standout meet in the UCLA vs. USC Dual, hitting PR’s in both the 100m (10.37) and 200m (21.08) to place second and fourth, respectively … Helped UCLA’s quartet in the 4x400m qualify for nationals, as the Bruins finished 10th at the NCAA West Regionals with a time of 3:06.49 … Competed in the 4x100m relay at the NCAA Championships, as the Bruins took 20th with a time of 40.18.
