272 Student-Athletes Named to Spring Director?s Honor Roll

A total of 272 UCLA student-athletes have earned a spot on the Athletic Director's Honor Roll in the 2015 Spring Quarter. To make the Director's Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a grade-point average of at least 3.0 and pass at least 12 quarter units.
Of the 272 student-athletes named to the spring honor roll, 130 of them earned a GPA of 3.5 or higher and 17 of them earned a perfect 4.0 GPA.
Women's Track & Field/Cross Country led all sports with 32 members on the Director's Honor Roll, followed by Football and Swimming & Diving each with 28 members. Men's Track & Field/Cross Country and Rowing came next with 25 members each, then Women's Volleyball with 16 members. Next in succession was Women's Water Polo with 14, Baseball and Gymnastics with 12 each, Men's Water Polo with 11, Men's Soccer with 10, Men's Golf with nine, Women's Soccer, Men's Tennis, Women's Tennis and Men's Volleyball all with eight, Men's Basketball with six, Women's Golf with five, Softball with four and Women's Basketball with three.
Women's Tennis player Kaitlin Ray, who graduated after the 2015 Spring Quarter, had the highest cumulative GPA (3.951 in Communication Studies) for a student-athlete who has completed at least two years at UCLA.
