McHenry was named MVP of the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) Tournament after leading UCLA to a pair of wins over No. 6 Grand Canyon, in the semifinals, and No. 8 Stanford to secure the championship. The Bruin middle blocker hit a combined .870 in the two matches with 20 kills on 23 swings and no attack errors. His 10 kills against Stanford was a team-best total, and he also tied for team-high honors in blocks with four. In the semifinal win over GCU, he hit a career-best .909, with 10 kills and a team-high six blocks. The Bruin team brought home its first MPSF Tournament Championship since the 2006 season.
This is McHenry's first UCLA student-athlete of the week award of the season and of his career.
