Jaquez Jr. Selected UCLA Student-Athlete of Week, presented by Ready

Jaquez Jr. averaged 24.5 points and 8.5 rebounds in UCLA's two home wins against Arizona State and Arizona last week. He shot 47.2 percent from the field and was 13-for-14 at the free throw line (92.9%) while totaling three assists and three steals through the two contests. Against the Sun Devils on Thursday, Jaquez Jr. scored 26 points and had seven rebounds in UCLA's 79-61 win. Two nights later, as he played in his final home contest for the Bruins, he registered 22 points and 10 rebounds (his seventh double-double of the year) to down No. 8 Arizona. Jaquez Jr. has now scored at least 20 points in six of the Bruins' last seven games.
This is Jaquez Jr.'s fourth UCLA student-athlete of the week award of the season and ninth of his career.
