Dailey Jr. Named UCLA Student-Athlete of the Week

LOS ANGELES – Sophomore Eric Dailey Jr. of UCLA Men's Basketball has been selected the Student-Athlete of the Week for competitions held between Dec. 24-30.
The sophomore finished with a team-best 18 points, connecting on 5-of-10 shots from the field, in UCLA's 65-62 win over No. 14-ranked Gonzaga on Saturday. He totaled six rebounds and a team-leading four steals in the Bruins' only game of the week. Dailey Jr. shot 4-of-5 from 3-point distance, including a perfect 3-for-3 from long-range in the second half of a back-and-forth non-conference showdown. His final 3-point basket at the 6:55 mark in the second half cut Gonzaga's cushion from 51-47 to 51-50. Dailey Jr. has averaged 11.4 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1.8 assists in all 13 games this season.
Dailey Jr. secures his first-career UCLA student-athlete of the week award.
