Chiles Named UCLA Student-Athlete of the Week

LOS ANGELES – Junior Jordan Chiles of UCLA Gymnastics has been selected the Student-Athlete of the Week for competitions held between Jan. 7-13.
 
Chiles won floor exercise with a 9.975, tied for third on vault with a 9.925 and tied for fifth on uneven bars with a 9.850 to help UCLA win Session 3 of the Sprouts Farmers Market Collegiate Quad. The Bruins recorded the third-highest score in the nation this season, totaling 197.550 in an over one-point victory over Kentucky, Ohio State and Arkansas. Chiles' floor score helped UCLA post the highest floor score in the nation, 49.600. It was her 27th career score of 9.975 or higher.
 
Chiles secures her fifth-career UCLA student-athlete of the week award.
