    • Sophomore center Dan Gadzuric (Den Haag, Holland/Governor Dummer Academy/Byfield, MA) of the men's basketball team was selected the MET-Rx UCLA Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Dec. 13-19.

    Against 19th-ranked DePaul on Saturday, Gadzuric recorded the first double-double of his career with 15 points (one shy of his career-high) and 14 rebounds (which tie for a career-high). Gadzuric also recorded a career-high 35 minutes to help lead UCLA to a 76-58 home victory. He was seven of nine in field goal attempts and one of two at the free throw line. In addition, Gadzuric had three blocks and one steal.

    Gadzuric is a sophomore with an undeclared major.
