Chiles Selected UCLA Student-Athlete of Week, presented by Ready

Chiles posted the highest all-around score in the nation and the second-highest score ever by a Bruin, putting up a career-high 39.900 in UCLA's dominant win over Iowa State. She recorded her second consecutive perfect 10 on uneven bars and her 10th and 11th 9.975s, on vault and floor, along with a 9.95 on beam. Her scores helped UCLA record a season-high 198.275, the sixth-highest team score in school history. UCLA also set a new season-high on vault (49.475) and tied its season-high on beam (49.625). Chiles won every event and the all-around, tying for first on vault and beam and winning bars, floor and the all-around outright. She has scored 9.9 or higher on 26 out of her last 28 routines and 9.95 or higher on 21 of those 28.
This is Chiles' second UCLA student-athlete of the week award of the season and third of her career.
