Campos Named UCLA Student-Athlete of Week, presented by Ready

Campos won her second medal in back-to-back tournaments at the Silverado Showdown on April 5 with a score of 5-under (67-73-71), defeating a quartet of runner-ups by three strokes. Campos is the first Bruin since 2018-19 to win multiple medals in a single season since 2018-19, when UCLA's trio of Patty Tavatanakit (three wins), Mariel Galdiano (two wins) and Beth Wu (two wins) achieved the feat. Campos won her first collegiate medal just last week at the Anuenue Spring Break Classic. She has shot under par in five of her last six rounds, with a scoring average of 69.2 in that stretch. Campos now leads UCLA with a 71.6 scoring average, six top-10 finishes and nine under-par rounds.
This is Campos' first UCLA student-athlete of the week award of the season and of her career.
